I am glad that my blog, Infomancy, does not scare you. Please do not be offended by the definition as there is no intention to focus on conspiracy. Instead, if you read the other posts in which I further define my view of Infomancy, you will see that it is about the magic of librarianship. When I, as a librarian and information retrieval expert, sit down with a search engine to find things, I tend to get results. Other people who aren't librarians may struggle for hours, but librarians can answer their questions very quickly. As I noted in one of my first posts, this is not "magic" but the application of information science that is so advanced to what the general public knows that it appears to them as magic.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I find the use of the term Infomancy to mean such kind of fascinating.

Je pense (devine?) que vous avez manqué le sens et but de l'infomancy. J'ai risqué de traduire vôtre pensées et d'y répondre. (Je ne risque pas içi une traduction en français mal formé.)
